deceased REGISTRATION

To register the death of a person of Bolivian nationality, the following information must be presented to the Consulate:

  • Death certificate issued by the pertinent United States authority that bears the Apostille of the Secretary of State or Government of each State, or of the Department of State of the United States of America.
  • Translation into Spanish of the death certificate duly notarized and bearing the Apostille of the Secretary of State or Government of each State, or of the Department of State of the United States of America.
  • Birth Certificate and Bolivian identification document of the deceased.
  • Identity document of the applicant and birth or marriage certificate proving the deceased registration.
  • Simple letter of request addressed to the Consul General.
  • The fee is $ 10.00 (ten) which can be paid by debit / credit card or Money Order
